Chris Rigler Demo Reel
HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP
This website's main use is as a portfolio showcase for Chris Rigler. The idea was to incorporate his use of textures from his modelling, with a clean, minimal style for the web. We wanted the web part to be clean and minimal so that it wouldn’t detract from his work. He also chose to have the video on the front page because it is the main feature of the site, and he wanted it to be the first thing that people saw.
The client also chose to have an image gallery as well as a sidebar for his links. The use of Lightbox for the gallery was chosen because he felt that having the images show up by themselves (as opposed as to be in the page) would give them more attention. He wanted the links to be easily accessible so a side bar was chosen to be utilized instead of them being on the bottom of each page.

Kelsey Sanderson Portfolio
HTML, CSS, Flash
This website's main use is as a portfolio showcase for Kelsey Sanderson. The idea was to incorporate the design of her portfolio into the design on her website. The client wanted a simple site that portrayed her work and style in a clean, simple way.
Flash was chosen for her gallery because she wanted to have each of the images grouped into their project, and the ability to scroll through the images for it. She wanted this to be done cleanly with the main focus being the images.
Her logo is used throughout the site as a branding tool, and to tie the site together with her business cards and portfolio.

Katamari Devastation Prevention
HTML, CSS
Katamari Devastation Prevention came about after playing some of the Katamari games for a few hours with my friend Kelsey. We ended up talking about what would actually happen if a Katamari rolled over the Earth, and decided that we should make an informal site about it!
We decided to keep the over-all design very clean and fun, keeping with the games look as much as we could. This would contrast with the information that we have on the page, which while still being light and funny is a bit grim.
A HTML/CSS approach was taken so that nothing was taken away from the content, but navigating is still interesting because of the use of a content scroll-bar. This allows the white part of the background, which is meant to portray a Katamari, to encase the content without taking away from it.

Nimbus Advertising Systems
HTML, CSS, Javascript
This site was done for a group project that I was a part of. The idea was an advertising company that used small computer screens set up in “hubs” in popular areas to display ads. It would be a cheap, effective way to advertise for small business’.
I worked on the front end of the site, using HTML, CSS, and Javascript to get the desired look and effects that we wanted. The site is supposed to be functional, simple and easy to use while looking like a professional business site.
The logo idea played off of the “hubs” and “systems” that Nimbus would utilize if it were a real thing. It uses a cloud to play on these words, while the typeface and alignment is still professional.

The Rules of Punch Buggy's
HTML, CSS, Javascript
This site was done originally as a type specimen booklet. I thought it would be interesting to convert the “rules” part of the book into a webpage. The reason I decided to do this was because there isn’t actually a website for punch buggy rules. Well, not a good one anyways, and since I'm an avid player of the game I thought I would spread the word.
I decided to keep the layouts that the book had, because they showcased the typeface really well; different ways it could be used, weights and styles of VAG Rounded are all there. I needed a way to make it interesting for web though, so I looked around and came across a nifty Jquery tutorial that I utilized in this site.

Spring Bloom
ActionScript 2.0
This is a game based off of Space Invaders. The idea was to help mother nature with the spring bloom, but the plants want to stay asleep! I based the graphics around this idea, keeping them fun and light.
